Missions Ministry Image2

The church that meets at Good Hope Baptist takes seriously the command that Jesus gave us in Matthew 28:18-20:

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

This is why we support various missions in the church. We start with prayer. We pray for a different missionary each week that is supported by the Cooperative Program of the Baptist State Convention.

We also financially support missions through the support of the cooperative program, Lottie Moon offerings and Annie Armstrong offerings. We also support an international missions effort through Global Scholars.

On the local level, our members serve our community through various outreach efforts through an annual Yard Sale, Fun Day, Trunk or Treat, and Vacation Bible School.

If you love missions and want to be a part of a body of believers that loves missions, then we may be a good fit for you. Please come one Sunday to find out more!
